Paddling Gear:
The following is
required for each individual (unless otherwise specified) during
the paddling portion of the event:

Personal Flotation Device. PFD's must be worn at all times
while in the water. Must be
CAN/CGSB approved Type III. Inflatable PFD's will NOT be
accepted.

15 meter
buoyant heaving line (verify with boat rental company that it
is included if you choose to rent) - one per boat. This is a
requirement of the
Canadian Coast Guard. This can be a throw bag or any other
type of rope with a floating end attached to it.

Bilge pump
or bailer (1 per team)
Mandatory
Mountain Biking Gear:
The following is
required for each individual during the mountain biking portion
of the event:

Tire pump
- one per team or solo

Spare tire
tube - one per person

Repair kit
with the basics for fixing a blown tire and broken chain break
tool – one kit per team or solo

Bike helmet with chin strap

You should always have
some food in your pack for emergencies at all times.
